Ralph H. Kapalczynski Jr. named manager of the Grand Rapids area of Michigan

Ralph H. Kapalczynski Jr. has been named manager of the Grand Rapids area of Michigan for First American Title Insurance Company, according to Parker S. Kennedy, president of the Santa Ana-based company. Kapalczynski will be responsible for managing profit centers and business development in Kent, Muskegon and Ottawa counties.

Kapalczynski started with First American in February 1995 as a sales manager with the Grand Rapids branch office. In February 1997, he transferred to the Muskegon office to accept the position of county manager. Prior to joining First American, Kapalczynski had 10 years of experience in various sales positions in Michigan.

Kapalczynski holds a bachelor of arts degree in general business administration from Michigan State University. He is an affiliate member of the Grand Rapids Home Builders Association where he serves on the ethics and complaint committee and the mortgage finance committee. Kapalczynski is also an affiliate member of the West Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association, the Grand Rapids Association of Realtors, and the Muskegon Association of Realtors. A lifelong resident of Michigan, Kapalczynski lives in Portland with his wife, Jane.
