Richard P. Pauletich appointed California state manager

Pauletich joined First American Title Guaranty in 1984 as vice president-administration, and was named executive vice president in 1986, president in 1988 and president and chief executive officer in 1993. Pauletich was named chairman in 1997. Prior to joining the company, he had been employed for 18 years with another national title insurance company where he served as vice president and regional manager for Northern California.
Pauletich holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Stanford University. He currently serves on the board of governors of the California Land Title Association, and as secretary on the board of regents for John F. Kennedy University. In addition, he serves as director for both First Security Thrift and First American Title Guaranty Holding Corp. A California native, Pauletich resides in Orinda with his wife, Margaret. The couple has two children.
