Robert L. Bailey named regional vice president in Wyoming

Bailey has 24 years of experience in the title insurance industry, having started with The Title Guaranty Co. of Wyoming, Inc. in 1974, serving in various positions. Ten years later, Bailey was named president of the company. In 1986, the company changed its name to First American Title Guaranty Co. Bailey was named vice president-state manager in 1990 when the company merged with First American and was subsequently renamed First American Title Insurance Company.
Bailey holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the University of Wyoming. He is a current member of the American Land Title Association, where he serves as chairman of bylaws, directory rules member, and as a state trustee for the organization’s title insurance political action committee. He is also a legislative committee member for the Wyoming Land Title Association, for which he is also a past president. Bailey is also involved with various civic organizations such as the Wyoming High School Activities Association, where he served as a state track meet official, and the Kelley Insurance Center of Drake University as a member of the Wyoming examination review committee. Bailey has also been involved with the Casper Chamber of Commerce and has served on the curriculum advisory committee for the Natrona County School District.
A native of Wyoming, Bailey lives in Casper with his wife, Alice, and their two children.
