Steve Jewett appointed president of First American Title Company of Idaho
July 1, 1998, SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
Jewett joined First American as a title officer for the Seattle office in 1987. A year later he was named sales manager, a position he held for four years until transferring to the company’s Alaska subsidiary as president, and as vice president-state manager for the parent company. Prior to joining First American, Jewett worked as title officer for two other Seattle title companies.
Jewett holds a bachelor of arts degree in geography from Central Washington State College. He recently served as president of the Alaska Land Title Association, as auditor for the Division of Insurance Continuing Education Committee, and as a member of the Rotary Club of Anchorage. In addition, Jewett is a former president of the Alaska Handball Association.
Born in Seattle, Jewett is in the process of relocating with his wife, Jeanne, and their two children.
