Thada M. Davis named branch manager for Service Standard Title & Trust
February 6, 1998, SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
Davis started at Service Standard in 1992 as a title clerk. Two years later she was named president of the company, a position she held until Service Standard was acquired by First American in late 1997. Service Standard had been an agent for another title company prior to its acquisition.
Davis holds a bachelor of arts degree in psychology with a minor in business administration from the University of South Carolina. She currently serves as secretary and education chair for The Names Project Virgin Islands in St. Thomas, volunteers at a local small animal hospital and is also a member of the St. Thomas Yacht Club. Born in South Carolina, Davis resides in St. Thomas where she has lived for the last 12 years.
