Thomas A. Peitz named manager of title operations in Monroe County, Michigan

Peitz came to First American through the acquisition of Ameriland Title Agency of Michigan, which was an agent of Midland Title Security, a wholly owned subsidiary of First American Title Insurance Company. For nine years prior to this, Pietz served as vice president of Midland Title Security Agency, Inc. in Monroe. Pietz started in the title business in 1987 when he was hired as director of operations for a title company in Toledo, Ohio. Before that, Pietz worked for Manufacturers Hanover for 20 years.
Peitz attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He is a current member of the Monroe County Home Builders Association where he serves on the board of directors. He has also been involved with the Monroe County Association of Realtors, where he served on the membership committee; the Monroe Exchange Club, where he served as a past president; the Monroe Golf & Country Club, where he served as golf chairman; and the Monroe Club.
A Michigan native, Peitz lives in the city of Temperance with his wife, Grace. The couple has six grown children.
