First American Title names Kip Haas to the position of vice president-divison ...


September 2, 1999, SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA

First American Title Insurance Company, one of the nation's largest title insurers, announced today that Kip Haas has been named vice president-division manager for its Lenders Advantage division. Working out of the division office in Santa Ana, Calif., Haas will be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing accounts on a national level.

Haas started with the Lenders Advantage corporate division office last year as director of software development, his most recent position. Prior to joining First American, Haas served as consulting manager for Grant Thorton in Irvine, Calif.; as MIS manager for Teledyne Inc. in Century City, Calif.; and as a financial analyst for General Dynamics in Pomona, Calif.

Haas holds a bachelor of science degree in finance from California Polytechnic University Pomona. A longtime resident of California, Haas resides in Corona with his wife, Barbara, and their daughter, Sydney.
