Bannon, who had served as regional vice president for Southern New England, New York, and most recently, the Mid-Atlantic region, has transferred to Florida where he will work on national agency accounts with Robert J. Hauser and Kenneth R. Jannen.
McGrath started with First American as a sales representative for the Stamford, Conn., office in 1985. Six years later, he was named regional sales manager. In 1995, he was transferred to the Fairfax, Va., office to accept the additional position of vice president-state manager.
McGrath holds a bachelor of science degree in finance from Southern Connecticut State University, where he also minored in computer science. McGrath currently serves on the board of directors for the Virginia Land Title Association. In addition, he is a former member of the New England Land Title Association and the New England Mortgage Bankers Association. Born in Connecticut, McGrath currently resides in Great Falls, Va., with his wife, Suzanne, and their two children.

Bannon, a 34-year veteran of the title industry, started with First American in 1979 as vice president-Connecticut state manager for the Hartford office. Eight years later, he was promoted to regional vice president-Southern New England region. In 1991, Bannon was named president of First American Title Insurance Company of New York, and Northeast regional vice president. Six years later, Bannon relocated to Washington, D.C., to take responsibility for the Mid-Atlantic region. Prior to joining First American, Bannon worked for other title companies in Connecticut.

Bannon holds a bachelor's degree from Washington & Lee University, and a LL.B. degree from Washington & Lee University School of Law. Bannon is a past president of the New York State Land Title Association, the New England Land Title Association and the Connecticut Title Association.
