First American Title Insurance Company, one of the nation's largest title insurers, announced today that Philip W. Kunisch has been named assistant vice president-director of commercial and industrial sales for First American Title Company. Working out of the Orange County branch office, Kunisch will be responsible for business development in the commercial and industrial marketplace.

Kunisch, who has 27 years of title-industry experience, started with First American in 1972 as publications and advertising assistant, and director of market research for the corporate office in Santa Ana, Calif. Ten years later, Kunisch was promoted to commercial and industrial sales representative, his most recent position.

Kunisch holds a bachelor's degree in communications from California State University Fullerton. Kunisch serves on the board of directors for the National Association of Industrial & Office Properties, and is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. A California native, Kunisch lives in the city of Orange with his wife, Nedra, and their two sons.
