William L. Rosenberg joins First American as assistant V.P.-state counsel

Rosenberg, who has 25 years of legal experience, has worked both in private practice and with the law firm Chernau, Milam & Weiss, of which he was a shareholder. Prior to joining First American, Rosenberg served as Tennessee state counsel for the Nashville office of another national title insurance company.
Rosenberg holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and a juris doctor from Duke University School of Law in Durham, N.C. He is a member of both the Tennessee and Nashville Bar associations, for which he served as chairman of the Real Estate Law Committee for the latter. In addition, Rosenberg currently serves as president-elect of the Tennessee Land Title Association, and as a member of the board of directors of the Nashville Adult Literacy Council. A lifelong resident of Nashville, Tenn., Rosenberg and his wife, Marti, have a daughter, Jane, and a son, Ben.
