Appointments to Three Key Positions

Ennico, whose primary focus as chairman will be the planned expansion of the company, has extensive experience in financial management and strategic planning. In addition to his role as chairman, he will serve as executive vice president of First American Trust, a wholly owned subsidiary of The First American Corporation, assuming responsibility for strategic development, sales and product development.
Prior to joining First American, Ennico held senior management positions with several notable firms. He was vice president with Citibank/Citicorp; vice president for Shearson Lehman Brothers; senior vice president for Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette; and managing director for Nikko Financial Services. Most recently, he had served as chief financial officer and treasurer for BTM Information Systems.
Ennico earned his master's degree in business administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey, and holds current Series-7 and Series-63 Securities licenses. A licensed private pilot, Ennico currently resides in Huntington Beach.
Hoppe, who has 19 years of investment management experience, will oversee and direct the administrative and sales functions for the company. He joins First American after serving as vice president - investments for First Security Van Kasper, a position he had held since 1996. His prior experience also includes positions as vice president - investments for Prudential Securities and president of Buffalo Capital Corporation.
Hoppe is a graduate of the University of Southern California, where he earned a bachelor's degree in finance. He is a past president of the Santa Ana Country Club, and holds a number of professional licenses including Series-7 and Series-63 Securities licenses, a California Department of Insurance Life and Disabilities Insurance License, and a California Real Estate Salespersons license. He and his wife of 22 years currently reside in Irvine and are the parents of four children.
Venable, who has been charged with the creation of new products and portfolio management responsibility, brings a breadth of knowledge to the company. Most recently, he had served as vice president - global asset allocation for PIMCO Advisors L.P., which is a member of the Allianz Group of companies. His prior experience also includes positions as vice president - equity portfolio manager for Pacific Investment Management Company, and financial analyst at The Franklin Mint.
After earning a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and computer science at the University of California, Berkley, Venable went on to earn a master's degree in business administration from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Venable holds Series-6 and Series-65 Securities licenses and also is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the Los Angeles Society of Financial Analysts. He resides in Laguna Niguel with his wife and three children.
