First American Title Insurance Company Names Janett Maxwell Assistant Vice President


June 23, 2000, SANTA ANA, Calif.

First American Title Insurance Company, one of the nation's largest title insurers, today announced that it has named Janett Maxwell assistant vice president-new hire coordinator for corporate staff. Working out of the Santa Ana, Calif., office, Maxwell is responsible for coordinating the new hire program for the company's regional offices and subsidiaries.

Maxwell started in the title plant of First American's Orange County, Calif., branch office in 1972. Seven years later, she transferred to the marketing department where she was promoted to director of market research, a position she held until 1991 when she joined the information services department. In 1997, Maxwell was named employee services/new hire coordinator for staff, her most recent position.

Maxwell attends Rancho Santiago College where she is studying business. She is currently a volunteer with the Nicole Brown Foundation, and has served as a volunteer with the Hospice of Orange County and Pets Are Wonderful Support for People Living With Aids (PAWS). A longtime resident of California, Maxwell lives in Tustin Ranch.
