First American Title Insurance Company Names Jeffrey A. Weber Maryland state manager


April 28, 2000, SANTA ANA, Calif.

First American Title Insurance Company, one of the nation's largest title insurers, today announced that it has named Jeffrey A. Weber state manager for Maryland. Weber is responsible for commercial and agency operations in Maryland, as well as the resolution and administration of claims in that state, Washington, D.C. and Virginia.

Weber started with First American's Washington, D.C., office in 1997 as vice president-regional claims counsel. Later that same year, he transferred to the company's Baltimore, Md., office to assume the additional responsibilities of Maryland state counsel. Prior to joining First American, Weber worked in private law practice and served as principal and attorney at law with the law firm McNamee, Hosea, Jernigan & Kim, P.A., in Annapolis, Md.

Weber holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Maryland in College Park and a juris doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in Maryland. A Maryland native, Weber lives in Annapolis, Md., with his wife, Theresa, and their four daughters.
