Kathy Oliver named vice president-Sonoma County manager for First American


January 3, 2000, SANTA ANA, Calif.

First American Title Insurance Company, one of the nation's largest title insurers, today announced that it has named Kathy Oliver to the position of vice president-county manager for the company's Sonoma County, Calif., operations. Working out of the company's Santa Rosa main office, Oliver is responsible for running operations in Sonoma County, including the main office and seven branch offices.

Oliver, who has 27 years of title industry experience, started with the Santa Rosa office of First American Title Company in 1982 as an escrow officer. Since then she has also held positions as branch manager, title operations manager, IS manager and, most recently, assistant county manager.

Oliver attended both Shasta College in Redding, Calif., and Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, Calif. Born in Oregon, Oliver and her husband, Bruce McConnell live in the city of Santa Rosa. The couple has two grown children.
