Mark Sachau California regional VP & CEO of First American Title Guaranty Company

Sachau, a 25-year veteran of the title industry, joined First American in 1981 as division manager with the San Jose, Calif., office of First American Title Guaranty Company. Fifteen years later, he was named executive vice president of the subsidiary, holding that position for a year until being promoted to president and chief operating officer in 1998, his most recent position.
Sachau holds a bachelor of arts degree in literature from San Diego State University and a juris doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law. Sachau is a past chairman of the Public Affairs committee for the California Land Title Association, and currently serves on the Advisory Council for the San Jose Repertory Theater and on the Council of 100 for the San Jose Museum of Art. A California native, Sachau lives in Soquel.
