Tim Guest named vice president-Santa Cruz County manager for Title

January 11, 2000, SANTA ANA, Calif.

First American Title Insurance Company, one of the nation's largest title insurers, today announced that it has named Tim Guest to the position of vice president-Santa Cruz County manager. Working out of the company's Santa Cruz, Calif., office, Guest oversees all personnel and operational matters for the Santa Cruz County operation.

Guest, who has 26 years of title industry experience, started with First American's Santa Ana, Calif., office in 1977 as a title examiner after serving three years with a Madera, Calif.,-based title company. Guest left First American later that year, serving in various title and escrow positions with other title companies in Santa Cruz County until rejoining First American in 1991 as escrow branch manager with the Capitola, Calif., office.

Guest, a native of California, was born in the city of Merced. He and his wife, Karen, live in Santa Cruz with their two sons, Nicholas and Jacob.
