FIRST AMERICAN TITLE INSURANCE COMPANY NAMES STEVE MUSTIN MIDWEST REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT
June 7, 2001, SANTA ANA, Calif.
First American Title Insurance Company, one of the nation’s largest title insurers, today announced that Steve Mustin has been promoted to regional vice president for the Midwest.
In this capacity, Mustin will be responsible for managing the company’s title operations in the state of Illinois, which was previously covered by James M. Costello, who is retiring after 36 years in the title insurance industry. In addition, he will assume responsibility for the states of Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia.
After joining First American’s Riverside, Calif., office in 1977, Mustin worked his way up through the positions of customer service manager, title officer and production manager. In 1992, he was named county manager in San Bernardino, Calif., then in 1996 relocated to San Diego where he also served as county manager. In November 2000, Mustin was named regional vice president of Southern California, overseeing San Diego, San Bernardino, Riverside and Imperial counties.
An active member of the community, Mustin has served for several years as a scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts in Poway. He previously was also a member of the board of directors for the Redlands Symphony.
