First American Title Insurance Company, one of the nation’s largest title insurers, today announced that Paul McDonald has joined the company as vice president, assuming responsibility for developing and managing national/major accounts in the commercial and residential builder market.
Formerly a quarterback for the University of Southern California, the Cleveland Browns and the Dallas Cowboys, McDonald retired from football and began a successful career in investment management. He currently is the radio analyst for USC football broadcasts.
“We are pleased to have Paul on our team,” said Curt G. Johnson, senior vice president-commercial and homebuilder services. “His relationships in the financial community will be a valuable asset as he works to extend First American’s presence in the real estate and homebuilder service markets.”
McDonald has been involved in numerous charitable organizations, including Paul’s Pals, an organization he formed to aid pediatric hematology/oncology patients at Cleveland Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. He also recently founded StreetSmart Kids to educate children and their parents about child safety. Additionally, he has served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations, including the University of Southern California Board of Governors and Westcoast Sports Associates.
