ROGER S. HULL APPOINTED SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AND CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER FOR FIRST AMERICAN

The First American Corporation (NYSE: FAF), the nation’s leading, diversified provider of business information and related products and services, today announced that Roger S. Hull has been appointed senior vice president and chief information officer.
Hull brings 20 years of experience to his new position, including 10 years of executive information technology leadership. In his new role, Hull will assume responsibility for First American’s enterprise-wide information technology activities, including strategy formulation, enterprise-level information technology administration and coordination of interbusiness unit technology initiatives. Hull will focus primarily on leveraging the company’s technology capabilities, resources and assets to create greater synergies between the company’s various business-unit information technology groups.
“As we continue to integrate our various systems and processes, Roger’s expertise will be invaluable,” said John M. Hollenbeck, executive vice president overseeing technology initiatives. “His experience dealing with business-to-business applications and network management will allow us to maximize our significant investment in technology.”
Hull joined First American in 1998 as senior technology officer for the company’s subsidiary, First American Title Insurance Company. A year later, he was named First American Title’s chief information officer.
Hull holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Oklahoma. He serves on the board of advisors for the Orange County Foundation for Medical Care. A California native, Hull currently lives in Irvine with his wife and three children.
