FIRST AMERICAN TITLE INSURANCE COMPANY APPOINTS MICHAEL W. MURPHY AS NEW JERSEY STATE MANAGER
June 10, 2002, SANTA ANA, Calif.
First American Title Insurance Company, one of the nation’s largest title insurers, today announced that Michael W. Murphy has joined the company as vice president and New Jersey state manager. In his new role, Murphy will be responsible for overseeing all operations and business development in the state of New Jersey.
Murphy brings more than 30 years of title industry experience to his new position. Over the years he has worked for several title companies and agencies, serving as an examiner, settlement officer and district manager. For the last 11 years he held the position of vice president and general manager for another large title insurer.
Murphy has been involved with a number of professional organizations, including the Cape May County Board of Realtors. He currently is a member of the Atlantic City & County Board of Realtors and the Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce.
A native of New Jersey, Murphy attended Rutgers University and Atlantic Community College. He currently resides in Linwood with his wife, Marie.
