FIRST AMERICAN TITLE INSURANCE COMPANY APPOINTS
PATRICIA A. PIPHER VICE PRESIDENT AND COUNTY MANA

First American Title Insurance Company, one of the nation’s largest title insurers, today announced that Patricia A. Pipher has been appointed vice president and San Diego county manager. In this new role, she will oversee operations in San Diego and Imperial counties.
Pipher initially joined First American in 1977 as an escrow officer in the company’s Santa Ana, Calif., office. After leaving for a short time in the early 1980s, Pipher returned to First American in 1987 when she was named vice president for the company’s subsidiary, Midland Title Security, Inc., in Hamilton, Ohio. In 1996, she relocated to San Diego and became escrow manager, a position she held until her most recent promotion to regional director of escrow in 2001.
A Certified Senior Escrow Officer, Pipher is a past director of the San Diego chapter of the California Escrow Association. She also is a licensed insurance agent for First American Property & Casualty Insurance Company.
Pipher attended the College of Saint Benedict in St. Joseph, Minn., and Xavier University in Cincinnati. She now resides in Oceanside, Calif.
