FIRST AMERICAN TITLE NAMES BARBIE HENDON CLIENT MANAGER FOR NATIONAL COMMERCIAL SERVICES GROUP


December 10, 2002, SANTA ANA, Calif.

First American Title Insurance Company, one of the nation’s largest title insurers, today announced that Barbie Hendon has been named client manager for the company’s National Commercial Services group. In this new position, Hendon will be responsible for developing new business in Orange and Los Angeles counties.

Prior to joining First American, Hendon spent more than 17 years with Compaq Computer Corporation and Digital Equipment Corporation in Irvine, Calif., where she handled major account sales and served as business operations manager for National System Integrators/Consultants Accounts group. Most recently she was a sales consultant with Bauer Jaguar in Santa Ana.

Hendon holds a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, Calif. A resident of Laguna Beach, she currently volunteers as a tutor at the Minnie Street Learning Center in Santa Ana and teaches second grade at Saddleback Valley Community Church in Lake Forest. She previously volunteered at Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Orange County and was a Big Sister for four years.
