RICHARD A. KERSENBROCK JR. NAMED VENTURA COUNTY MANAGER FOR FIRST AMERICAN TITLE

First American Title Insurance Company, one of the nation’s largest title insurers, today announced that Richard A. Kersenbrock Jr. has been named vice president and county manager of the company’s operations in Ventura County, Calif.
A native of Hawaii, Kersenbrock initially joined First American Long & Melone Title Company in Honolulu in 1998 as vice president and general counsel. He served in that position until 2000, when he relocated to California and was named vice president and regional counsel for First American Title Company of Los Angeles. In 2001, he was promoted to vice president, regional counsel and chief operating officer of the company’s Ventura County operations.
Kersenbrock, an attorney for more than 10 years, has been active in the Hawaii, Los Angeles County and American Bar Associations. He currently serves as a member of the Title Insurance Litigation Committee of the American Bar Association’s Tort and Insurance Practice Section.
Kersenbrock holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism as well as a juris doctor from the William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawaii at Manoa. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
