First American Title Names Robert Schott Regional Vice President For Southern California
September 8, 2003, SANTA ANA, Calif.
First American Title Insurance Company, one of the nation’s largest title insurers, today announced that Robert Schott has been named regional vice president for Southern California. Working from the company’s office in Glendale, Calif., Schott will oversee title operations for Imperial, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Ventura counties.
Prior to joining First American, Schott held senior-level positions with several top corporations, including DuPont, Dean Foods and Frito Lay. He initially joined First American in 1999 when he was named chief operating officer for the company’s National Default Title Services division. During his tenure there, he led the division to a quadruple increase in market share.
Schott holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He currently lives in LaVerne, Calif., with his wife, Mary, and their son, Bobby.
