Linda McSweeney Appointed as Senior Account Executive for First American Residential Group

First American Residential Group, Inc., a member of The First American Corporation (NYSE: FAF) family of companies, today announced that Linda McSweeney has been appointed senior account executive. McSweeney’s primary responsibility will be to help facilitate the implementation of the joint marketing agreement between First American and RE/MAX International, Inc.
The agreement, which was announced in August, will provide RE/MAX affiliates with access to First American title products and services designed to increase efficiency and improve operating margins for RE/MAX broker/owners. Serving as the primary liaison between First American Residential Group, RE/MAX and First American Title Insurance Company’s offices nationwide, McSweeney will ensure that each party realizes maximum benefits of the joint marketing agreement.
McSweeney brings an extensive real estate background to this new position, including nearly 12 years spent as a paralegal specializing in foreclosure, bankruptcy and residential real estate closings. She joined First American in 1996 when she was named agency manager for the company’s title operations in Boston. In 1999, she was named assistant vice president and regional director for First American’s Brokers Advantage division, where she played a key role in researching and developing the marketing framework for establishing the division in New England.
A graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, McSweeney now resides with her husband and three sons in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
