Evan M. Zanic Named Pennsylvania State Manager For First American Title Insurance Company

First American Title Insurance Company today announced that Evan M. Zanic has been named Pennsylvania state manager. In this role, he will oversee all direct and agency operations in the state of Pennsylvania.
Zanic entered the title insurance industry in 1999 after 14 years as a partner in the private law firm Papernick & Gefsky, P.C. He served as commercial transactions counsel/underwriter for one of the area’s larger title insurers before joining First American in 2001 as Western Pennsylvania area manager.
After completing a bachelor’s degree in political science and business at the University of Pittsburgh, Zanic went on to earn his juris doctor from the university’s school of law. He is a member of the Allegheny County, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations, as well as the Pennsylvania Land Title Association. A native of Pennsylvania, Zanic and his wife, Dorothea, currently reside in Pittsburgh with their three children.
