First American Title Names Janine J. Andriole Senior Vice President of Texas Subsidiary


April 23, 2004, SANTA ANA, Calif.

First American Title Insurance Company today announced that Janine J. Andriole has assumed the position of senior vice president of the company’s subsidiary, First American Title Insurance Company of Texas. In this new position, Andriole will coordinate agency operations in the states where the subsidiary currently does business and will oversee expansion into additional states. First American Title Insurance Company of Texas is currently licensed in Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin.

“We are thrilled that Janine will be working with our Texas subsidiary in the important area of agency operations,” said Melville Bois, president of First American Title Insurance Company of Texas. “Her knowledge and experience will be invaluable to us as we continue to grow the business.”

Andriole initially joined First American Title in 1997 and served as Maryland state manager and
as regional agency manager for the Mid-Atlantic Region, which consists of Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. In 2000, she moved to the National Agency Division and assumed the role of agency development manager. In that capacity, she helped develop the division into the industry-leading, multi-state agency operation that it is today.

Before joining First American, Andriole worked for two other title insurance companies as well
as in several Virginia law firms. A former president of both the Maryland and District of Columbia Land Title Associations, she received her bachelor’s degree from Holy Cross College and her juris doctorate from Case Western Reserve Law School.
