First American Title Insurance Company Names Paul M. Doman Vice President-National Home Equity Coun

First American Title Insurance Company, one of the nation’s largest title insurers, today announced that Paul M. Doman has assumed the position of vice president—national home equity counsel. In his new position, Doman will oversee both direct and agency sales and production of the innovative FACT program. In addition to this important role, he also will oversee new product development for the home equity market.
FACT, an automated solution to provide a package of First American’s core real estate-related products that can be ordered online through a single point of contact, instantly delivers the collateral verification pieces necessary for home equity lenders to close loans quickly. The product combines detailed property information including title reports, flood zone determinations and automated valuations with First American’s new FACT Master Loan Policy of Title Insurance.
Doman initially joined First American in 1995 and during his tenure previously served as general counsel of First American Equity Loan Services, Inc., a Cleveland-based wholly owned subsidiary of First American Title Insurance Company.
