Joseph L. “Kepa” Dwight IV Named Hawaii State Manager For First American Title Insurance Company

First American Title Insurance Company today announced that Joseph L. “Kepa” Dwight IV has been named state manager for Hawaii. Dwight, who is also president and chief executive officer for First American’s Hawaiian subsidiary, First American Title Company, Inc., will now oversee all title and escrow operations statewide.
Formerly a practicing attorney, Dwight joined First American in 2000 when he was appointed as assistant vice president and agency manager. During the three years that he held that position, he also served as vice president and general counsel for the company’s subsidiary, First American Long & Melone, which later became First American Title Company, Inc. In 2003, he was promoted to title and operations manager for that subsidiary.
Dwight holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Hawaii and a juris doctor from the university’s William S. Richardson School of Law. The Hawaii native currently resides in Kailua with his wife, Juliette, and their two children.
