First American Partners with Habitat for Humanity to Construct Homes in Five Communities
Bay Area Habitat for Humanity Affiliates to hold Building Day on April 2, 2005

First American Title Insurance Company today announced that it will join five Bay Area Habitat for Humanity affiliates for a community home-building event to be held Saturday, April 2. Working with San Mateo County-based Peninsula Habitat and four other Habitat affiliates, more than 100 First American employees and their families are expected to participate in the construction of homes in
The home-building event is part of a comprehensive initiative by First American and its parent company, The First American Corporation, to expand homeownership among low- to moderate-income families—specifically among Latino, African-American and Asian/Pacific Islander communities. In October, The First American Corporation, donated $100,000 in support of the MAKE it REAL campaign by Peninsula Habitat to build 23 new homes that will help hard-working families with low incomes achieve the dream of homeownership.
