First American Trustâ, FSB, a member of The First American Corporation (NYSE: FAF) family of companies, today announced that Kelly P. Dudley has been appointed executive vice president and Dimetria A. Jackson has been named senior vice president. In response to the company’s focus on expanding their market, reaching brokerage referrals and broadening investment management offerings, Dudley and Jackson will both be responsible for using their areas of expertise to oversee specific departments of the company affected by the growth.

As the company continues to expand, both geographically and structurally, Kelly P. Dudley’s expertise in the industry and experience with the company will be invaluable in improving the flow of information to both internal and external points of contact. He has extensive experience in the financial services industry, including securities processing, mutual fund pricing, income collection and corporate actions. He will be responsible for overseeing information technologies and banking services for the company. 

Dudley joined First American Trust as senior vice president and operations manager in 1994, and was later promoted to chief operating officer, a position he currently holds. In addition to his work with First American, Dudley is actively involved with industry and community organizations. He currently resides in TustinCalif., with his wife, Sherry, and their two children.

As general counsel and chief compliance officer, Dimetria A. Jackson, who also joined First American in 1994, will be responsible for overseeing the legal and compliance departments, as well as serving as secretary of the corporation and secretary of the board. Her experience with compliance laws and regulations relating to the investment advisory, fiduciary services and banking industries makes her the ideal candidate to oversee these components. She began her career with First American Title Insurance Company as assistant national claims counsel, and later was named associate regional counsel and vice president and corporate compliance counsel for the title company, before transitioning to First American Trust in 2000 as vice president, corporate counsel and compliance officer. Jackson holds a bachelor’s degree in government and sociology from Dartmouth College and a juris doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law.  She is licensed to practice law in California and Illinois and is a member of local, state and national bar associations. Jackson is on the board of the Public Law Center, a member of the state bar of California’s Ethnic & Minority Relations Committee and is also actively involved in charitable, community and professional organizations. She and her husband, Ernest Priestly, reside in Irvine, Calif.
