Robert C. Law Promoted to Vice President and Maricopa County Manager for First American Title

January 20, 2005, SANTA ANA, Calif.

First American Title Insurance Company today announced that Robert C. Law has been promoted to vice president and Maricopa County manager. In this new role, Law will oversee all builder and residential group sales and operations.

“Rob is a First American veteran with a solid record of achievement in each of his previous positions,” said Chip Carmer, regional vice president for the Southwest and president of the Arizona division. “With this change, First American will be able to better coordinate operational management in two areas that complement each other: the builder and residential divisions.”

In 1998, he joined the company’s Tucson office and was named sales manager for the Pima County operation. In 2000, Law relocated to Hawaii to accept a position as president of the First American’s Hawaii operation. He returned to Phoenix in 2002 when he was named Southwest Region sales manager and escrow operations manager.

Law is involved in a number of community and professional organizations, including the United Way of Greater Phoenix, the Central Arizona Escrow Association and the National Association of Realtors. Law holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Tufts University of Boston and a master’s degree in organizational management from the University of Phoenix.
