Sally French Tyler Joins First American Title's National Commercial Services Division

January 21, 2005, SANTA ANA, Calif.

First American Title Insurance Company today announced that Sally French Tyler has joined the company as national sales director for the National Commercial Services Division. In her new position, Tyler will be responsible for establishing strategies and programs to support the division’s business development and marketing efforts. She also will oversee training and recruiting initiatives.

Tyler entered the title insurance industry in 1986 following three years in commercial real estate development. Since then, she has gained extensive experience in national title sales and management. Prior to joining First American, she was vice president and director of sales and marketing for another large title insurer, where she led a sales team that covered three states. She is a recognized top producer and has been profiled in numerous industry trade publications, including National Real Estate Investor, which highlighted her as one of “40 Stars of Tomorrow” in 1998; Commercial Lender; Commercial Property News; Business to Business and Globe Street.

Actively involved in several professional organizations, Tyler currently serves on the board of directors for the Real Estate Group of Atlanta, and has served as national delegate and past president of the Atlanta Chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women. Additionally, she was elected to the national board of directors of the Commercial Real Estate Women’s Network, and went on to serve as president of the international organization in 2001. Tyler’s other professional affiliations include the Dixie Land Title Association, the National Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives, the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Tyler and her husband, Ed, live in Atlanta.
