Evan M. Zanic Named Regional Vice President for First American Title Insurance Company


March 30, 2006, SANTA ANA, Calif.

First American Title Insurance Company today announced that Evan M. Zanic has been promoted to regional vice president. Zanic, who has extensive experience in commercial transactions and underwriting, will oversee all direct and agency title operations in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Zanic entered the title industry in 1999, following 14 years as a partner in a private law firm. His tenure with First American began in 2001 when he was named Western Pennsylvania area manager. Three years later, he was promoted to state manager.

A Pennsylvania native, Zanic holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and business, and a juris doctor from the University of Pittsburgh. He is actively involved in a number of professional organizations, including the Allegheny County, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations. He also is a member of the Pennsylvania Land Title Association and serves on the board of directors of the Title/Appraisal Vendor Management Association. 

Zanic currently lives in Pittsburgh with his wife, Dorothea, and their three children.
