First American to Host MBA’s Loss Mitigation Bootcamp at Westlake, Texas, Campus
—June CampusMBA Workshop Matches Training Curriculum to Unprecedented Loss Mitigation Market Conditions—

The First American Corporation (NYSE: FAF), America’s largest provider of business information, announced today that it will host the Mortgage Bankers Association’s CampusMBA workshop on loss mitigation on June 10, 2008, at First American’s Westlake, Texas, campus.
Taught by industry experts, the bootcamp-style workshop is designed for servicing managers, counselors and loan servicing professionals who are responsible for performing and monitoring loss mitigation workouts. The workshop provides participants with insights on key loss mitigation issues, including common reasons for default, investor and insurer loss mitigation requirements and workout options.

Rick Roniger, chief operating officer of First American’s Loss Mitigation Services, will be leading a panel of experienced instructors who have been selected for their comprehensive knowledge of loss mitigation topics.

Comprehensive loss mitigation training will be offered at the June workshop as participants engage in five hands-on exercises that include the design of a loss mitigation workout plan. An online final exam is available following the conclusion of the workshop.
