Larry Buster Takes Responsibility for First American's operations in Orange and San Diego Counties

First American Title Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of First American Title Insurance Company, announced today that Larry Buster has taken on additional responsibility for the company’s operations in San Diego County. Buster, who has served as vice president and Orange County manager for the last 10 years, will now oversee all title and escrow operations in both Orange and San Diego counties.
Buster’s tenure with First American began nearly 30 years ago when he was hired as a law clerk in the company’s Santa Ana, Calif., office. He was named assistant counsel in 1980 shortly after passing the California State Bar, then regional counsel in 1982. Four years later, he was promoted to regional counsel–manager of title operations, a position he held until accepting the position of vice president-county manager for Riverside in 1997. The following year, he returned to the Santa Ana office upon being named to his most recent position as Orange County manager.
Actively involved in a number of community and professional organizations over the years, Buster currently is president-elect of the California Land Title Association. He also serves on the boards of HomeAid and The Salvation Army and is president-elect for the Orange County Business Council.
Buster holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California and a juris doctor from Pepperdine Law School. An Illinois native, Buster currently resides in Tustin.
