Richard A. Diamond Promoted to Vice President and Manager for First American Title

July 14, 2008, SANTA ANA, Calif.

First American Title Insurance Company announced today that Richard A. Diamond has been named vice president and manager. In this new position, Diamond will oversee the day-to-day operations of the company’s offices in Massachusetts, which provide a wide range of services to attorney agents, lenders and real estate brokers in the commonwealth.

Diamond’s tenure with First American began in 1988. Since then, he has held numerous positions, including serving as vice president and regional IT director for First American’s Northeast Division for the last 10 years.

A member of First American’s Title Technology committee, Diamond speaks regularly about technology trends and how technology can improve title processing for the company’s agents. He is a member of the American Land Title Association and the New England Land Title Association, and also serves on the executive board of Massachusetts Title, one of the oldest title insurance companies in the country. He also is a periodic guest lecturer for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education in Boston.  

A native of Massachusetts, Diamond attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, where he studied business and business technology.
