Heritage Escrow Company Names Ryan M. Swed As Chief Executive Officer

Heritage Escrow Company, a subsidiary of First American Financial Corporation, announced today that it has named Ryan M. Swed as its chief executive officer.
In his new role, Swed is responsible for all areas of the company’s daily operations, including revenue and market share growth, client relationship management and technology. Erin Bishop, who has served as president of the Heritage Escrow Company, will remain in her role.
Swed has held a variety of leadership roles with First American Title Insurance Company’s Southwest Division since 2010.
“Ryan’s business acumen and demonstrated leadership abilities make him highly qualified to run Heritage Escrow as that company expands in the Southern California markets,” said Curt Caspersen, president of First American Title Insurance Company’s Southwest Division.
Prior to joining First American, Swed held various positions at Bank of America and The Vanguard Group. He holds a B.A. in political science (public law) from University of California, San Diego, and his M.S. in Finance and a J.D. from Chapman University School of Law in Orange, Calif.
