Stephen A. Meli, Esq.

Stephen Meli serves as Commercial Underwriting Manager and Senior Underwriting Counsel for the National Commercial Services Division of First American Title Insurance Company in the Washington DC NCS Office. He has over 10 years’ experience underwriting complex commercial transactions and joined First American Title in January 2022.

Prior to that, Stephen served as Assistant Vice President – Associate Senior Underwriting Counsel for Commercial Services for Stewart Title. He is currently barred in Virginia and the District of Columbia.

Stephen received his Juris Doctor from the George Mason University – Antonin Scalia Law School and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from American University.
