Brian Sutter

Brian is a licensed title professional and has over 30 years of experience in the title industry. Before joining the First American Title Ohio agency team, Brian served as VP-Agency for Port Lawrence Title (PLT), a First American direct operation in the greater Toledo area. In this position, Brian focused his sales and marketing efforts on real estate agents, lenders, attorneys, builders and government officials. He also worked closely with independent title agents who wrote their policies on PLT. Brian’s responsibilities included organizing the PLT annual continuing education seminar for title insurance agents and local attorneys.

Prior to his tenure at PLT, Brian was president of Landimer Title Agency, an exclusive agent of PLT. (Landimer merged with PLT in 2000, and PLT merged with First American in 2010.) Brian taught a post-licensing class focused on title insurance and the closing process for the Toledo Board of REALTORS®. He has been an active member of the Northwest Ohio chapters of the Mortgage Bankers Association and Home Builders Association serving on multiple committees over the past 15 years.

Brian resides in Lambertville, Michigan – just over the Ohio line – but assures our Ohio agents he is a Buckeye fan when it comes to the annual Ohio State – Michigan football rivalry!
