Barry J. Tuemler, Esq.

Barry is a knowledgeable title professional with over 38 years of legal and industry experience. He leads the Kentucky underwriting team in providing highly responsive commercial and residential underwriting guidance to our agents. Barry works closely with the state manager to enhance agency relationships and collaborates with regional counsel and senior underwriters to develop training for agents and underwriters.

Barry joined First American Title in 1989 and has held positions of increasing responsibilities throughout his career. In addition, his background includes five years in private law practice. Barry understands the challenges in the ever-changing industry landscape, and his extensive knowledge and industry experience are valuable assets for our valued agents. Regardless of the complexity of the transaction, he has the knowledge, industry experience, and a positive, helpful approach to offering assistance.

Barry graduated from Thomas More University with a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and history and received his Juris Doctor from Salmon P. Chase College of Law - Northern Kentucky University. He is a member of the Kentucky, Ohio, and American Bar Associations and is a member and past president of the Kentucky Land Title Association. Active in his community, Barry has been a Junior High School Basketball coach for the past 25 years.
