A knowledgeable and customer-focused title professional with over ten years of legal and title experience, Caroline provides agents with highly responsive underwriting guidance and support for residential and commercial transactions. You can count on her to provide you with the highest level of personalized customer service that ensures peace of mind for home buyers, sellers, and the professionals that serve them.

Prior to joining the Pennsylvania Agency Underwriting Team, Caroline served as senior underwriting counsel for First American Mortgage Solutions. In this role, she led a team of underwriting assistants in issuing title insurance policies and uninsured title products to nationwide, institutional residential lender and loan servicing clients. Additionally, she provided divisional underwriting direction for new projects, underwriting communications, and transactional requests to close via remote online notarization, remote ink notary, and other electronic or remote signature or notary methods.

Caroline’s background includes serving as underwriting counsel for both the Direct and Agency Divisions of First American Title and collateral specialist for a hard-money lending institution managing the post-closing collateral department. She also served as associate claims counsel and analyst for First American Title in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. She was also a closing specialist for a title, escrow and settlement services company, and a commercial title officer for a national, full-service title insurance agency.

Caroline graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Arts in music and a minor in French. She received her Juris Doctor from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and is admitted to the Bar of Maryland Court of Appeals. Caroline is a member of  First American’s Excellence in Underwriting Class of 2018, First American Distressed Properties, and Native American Lands Practice Groups. She serves as vice-chair of the First American Fraud Prevention Group.
