Hannah Garfinkel

Hannah Garfinkel is a knowledgeable and customer-focused title professional who provides highly responsive underwriting guidance and assistance to agents and their customers throughout Connecticut. You can count on her to provide the highest level of personalized customer service that ensures peace of mind for homebuyers and sellers and the professionals that serve them.

Hannah joined the First American family in 2016 as an undergraduate intern participating in our internship program. She continued as a graduate intern throughout her time in law school, assisting the underwriters and title officers in all facets of the underwriting and closing processes.

While in law school, Hannah also completed an externship at the Connecticut Urban Legal Initiative (CULI), which provides transactional services to Connecticut's nonprofit organizations. For her work at CULI, Hannah received the 2020 UConn School of Law L. Steward Bohan Connecticut Attorneys Title Insurance Company Foundation (CATIC) Award in Real Property, which is awarded to two students for outstanding work in real property law. Hannah also served on the Executive Board of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal as Executive Editor.

Hannah received her Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law and was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in December 2020. Prior to law school, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Connecticut.
