JP is an accomplished real estate executive with over 20 years of commercial real estate experience. He has been involved with over $500M dollars of projects as an advisor, owner and developer; making him uniquely equipped to advocate for his clients and resolve potential risks associated with their title insurance requirements.  

JP’s distinct perspective on commercial title insurance stems from his involvement as a principal to a multitude of real estate ventures that include: High-Rise Office, Hospitality, Multi-Family, Retail, Industrial, Parking Facilities and Public Private Projects (PPP). He has negotiated and been a party to dozens of complex legal agreements such as Purchase & Sale Contracts, Ground Leases, Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Agreements, Hotel Franchise & Management Contracts, AIA Contracts, Construction Loans and Zoning Applications.

In addition to his diverse background in commercial real estate, his early work experience as a paralegal provides exceptional ease in working relationships and effective communication with attorneys; enabling a more in depth understanding of legal documents, legal procedures and contract negotiation.

JP graduated from Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, Texas, is a licensed Illinois Real Estate Managing Broker and earned his LEED Green Associate credential from the U.S. Green Building Council.

Outside of commercial real estate JP has earned several credentials including his Private Pilot License from the FAA (instrument rated) and his Open Water Diver certification from the Professional Association of Diving Instructors.
