A knowledgeable professional with 15 years of real estate and legal experience, John provides highly responsive underwriting guidance and support to agents and their customers in Oregon, Idaho, and Montana.

Before joining First American Title, John was a partner in a law firm where he represented parties in various real estate legal matters. He also conducted lobbying efforts during Idaho Legislative sessions, performed tax consulting and compliance matters for both business entities and individuals, and specialized in commercial and real estate matters through all stages of litigation. In addition, his background includes serving as a tax compliance officer for a parent company with subsidiaries specializing in a range of construction, transportation, and investment businesses.

John received a Bachelor of Science in business accounting from the University of Idaho – College of Business and Economics and a Juris Doctor from the University of Idaho – College of Law. He is a member of the Idaho State Bar and is a certified instructor for the Idaho Real Estate Commission. John was raised in a real estate focused family and has fostered and developed relationships with real estate and title agents throughout his personal and professional life.
