Kevin Cairns, Esq.

Kevin Cairns is a 27-year veteran of the title industry and is highly valued for his extensive commercial expertise, problem-solving ability, and excellent communication skills. In his role as Commercial Regional Underwriter, Kevin provides highly responsive underwriting guidance and support to agents and their customers throughout the North Atlantic Region.

Kevin joined First American Title in 2003 as underwriting counsel and held positions of increasing responsibilities during his tenure with the Company. His background includes working for national underwriters as state counsel, state agency manager, and assistant underwriting counsel. Kevin’s professionalism, extensive knowledge of the industry, and customer-focused attitude are strengths that deliver value to our agents.

A graduate of Trenton State College with a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice, Kevin received his Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law. He is a member and past-president of the New Jersey Land Title Association and a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Kevin received his Certified Title Professional designation, holds a New Jersey Insurance Producers License, and is an instructor of continuing education courses.
