Mary Claire Miller, Esq.

A knowledgeable title attorney with over twenty years of diverse experience in residential and commercial real estate and transactional law, Mary Claire has represented purchasers and sellers, lenders, commercial landlords and vendors, developers, and borrowers. She provides highly responsive underwriting guidance and assistance to our valued agents and is dedicated to using her expertise, knowledge, and problem-solving ability to resolve title or underwriting issues.

Before joining First American Title, Mary Claire served as Of Counsel for a transactional law firm in Jacksonville, Florida. Her primary legal practice included handling residential and commercial real estate transactions, including title services, drafting residential and commercial contracts, loan documents and closing documents. Mary Claire also served as Vice President of Operations for the firm’s affiliated title company. Her background also includes serving as founding and managing partner for a law firm where her law practice included residential and commercial real estate transactions and performing title services in connection with the transactions. 

Mary Claire graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. She received her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law. Throughout college, she worked at the Florida State University Athletics Department managing the accounts payable for the various athletic teams. Mary Claire is a member of the Florida Bar, the Real Property/Trust Division of the Florida Bar, and the Jacksonville Bar Association. Additionally, she is a member of the Northeast Florida Builders Association,  and previously served as an Adjunct Professor, Florida Coastal School of Law – Lawyering Practice for Litigation and Transactional Practice.
