A high-energy, results-oriented professional, Marlen has over three decades of experience in the title industry and has a demonstrated strength for connecting solutions to customers’ needs. She is a bilingual, South Florida native focused on strengthening agency relationships and providing agents with the tools and services necessary for growth and continued success.

Before joining the Florida Agency team, Marlen was president of a leading title insurance agency and escrow company in South Florida. Her responsibilities included day-to-day company operations, business development and strategic expansion, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Her background also includes owning and managing a title company and serving as regional manager and director of the REO division for the largest independent title agency in South Florida.  Marlen’s depth of industry experience as an executive and former agency owner enhances her ability to provide agents with strategic solutions to achieve their title and settlement goals.

Marlen is a licensed title insurance agent, licensed real estate sales associate, and a Florida notary public. She participates in the annual American Land Title Association (ALTA) and Real Estate Services Providers Council (RESPRO) conferences to keep up with new laws and business strategies. Marlen also conducts first-time homebuyer workshops for low to moderate-income families, training them on the specifics of purchasing their homes so they will be comfortable throughout the closing process.
