Mike Savas, CTIP

A knowledgeable and customer-focused title professional who has worked in all facets of the title insurance business including closing, examining and underwriting since 1992, Mike has served the industry in many roles, including residential examiner, commercial examiner, residential closer, commercial closer, commercial division manager, underwriter, and as counsel.

In addition to his duties at First American, Mike is dedicated to serving the agency community as part of the Texas Land Title Association (TLTA), serving on their Board of Directors and President (2019-2020).

Mike graduated from Colgate University with double major in economics and English, and earned his Juris Doctor at the University of Texas at Austin. He currently serves on TLTA’s legislative and regulatory committees and is a member of the TLTAPAC Board of Trustees. Mike is a recipient of the TLTA James H. Garst President’s Award and received the First American Donald P. Kennedy Circle of Excellence Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the Company.
