Steve Zablocki

Steven Zablocki serves as Underwriting Counsel for First American Title in Wisconsin and brings over 20 years of industry experience to his position. He provides underwriting support and counsel to agents and employees. His responsibilities also include drafting state communications and facilitating continuing education seminars for title examiners. Steve has an excellent reputation in the industry and a positive, helpful approach to offering assistance.

Before joining First American Title, Steve gained extensive experience working for law firms in Wisconsin counseling clients on a wide range of subjects including foreclosure and default-related issues. He litigated and tried complex cases in both state and federal courts.

Steve graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Arts in history and political science and received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law. He is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law and the Bankruptcy, Insolvency & Creditor’s Rights Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin and is a member of the First American Native American Lands Practice Group and Distressed Property Practice Group.
